To be able to play perfectly and master blackjack, it is, however, crucial to understand what the odds are for every scenario you face and only base your decisions on those odds. It’s important to be aware of how the house is getting an edge in the game and what advantages us players have to our disposal, which can be used to lower the house edge.
A player better odds than regular blackjack. It depends on the rules variations at the casino where you play. Like pontoon and Double Attack Blackjack, Spanish 21 removes the 10s from the deck, leaving 48 cards. Of course, removing four of the 10s from the deck decreases a player’s chances of getting a natural, but Spanish 21 makes up. Double Attack Blackjack Rules. Double Attack Blackjack is played like regular Spanish 21 Blackjack. That means the 10s have been removed and eight decks are used. After placing a bet on the table, you will be dealt two cards. As in European or American Blackjack the dealer receives one card face up and one card face down.

I'm making my first ever trip to Atlantic City at the end of August; and I am curious about the new variation of 21 that they are offering there, Double Attack Blackjack. I am wondering if anyone has played it, has any thoughts on it, etc.
I'm not even sure which casinos have it. (Obviusly, that would be info I'd appreciate if anyone has it); but my understanding is that it works like this:
You place a bet like normal. Then the dealer shows you his or her upcard. At that point, you can make an additional bet up to the amount of the original bet. Once you get your cards, it plays like regular blackjack with the following exceptions:
You can double down (both wagers) at any point, on any total, with any number of cards, including after splitting. YOu also have 'Double Down Rescue', surrendering after doubling.
If you do split, you have to match both wagers.
You can surrender at any point, with any total, with any number of cards, except if the dealer has a natural.
Player's natural always wins, but pays only even money.
The ten cards are removed from the deck. All of the face cards are still in play; but there are no tens (just like Spanish 21).
There is also a 'bust0it' side bat where you wager that the dealer will bust in exactly three cards; and you get odds depending on what the third card is.
There is also a 50:1 bonus on the bust-it bet if the dealer gets three eights of the same color, and a 200:1 bonus for three eights of the same suit.
It is an eight deck shoe.
