In Mid 2004 the Pennsylvania legislature legalized slot machines at 14 different locations throughout the state: two hotel resorts, five stand-alone casinos, and seven racetracks (racinos).
The traditional stand-alone casinos in Pennsylvania are allowed to have up to 5,000 machines each. The hotel resort licensees, however, are only allowed up to 600 machines in their casinos.

Valley Forge National Historical Park
This park symbolizes the suffering, sacrifice, and the triumph of the American Revolutionary War. Relive history at Gettysburg National Military Park
This park is the site of the Gettysburg Battlefield which was where the Civil War battle took the life of about 51,000 people during three days in 1863.
